Marcegaglia Oldbury
Marcegaglia UK acquired the Oldbury site in 2021, which is dedicated to the manufacturing of electro-welded carbon and stainless steel tubes for a wide range of applications.
The production plant in Oldbury (West Midlands) has an overall surface of 690,000 sqm, of which 46,184 sqm are covered, with four carbon steel tube production lines (total capacity: 70,000 tonnes) and three stainless steel tube production lines (total capacity: 30,000 tonnes).
The production lines in Marcegaglia UK are equipped to offer a wide range of specific tube finishes. Tubes are tested with tensile, flattening, expansion, dimensional and visual tests.
